I started rescuing 14 1/2 years ago as a foster with my children. My children are very involved as we run the rescue together which was established September 2015 as Save R Paws Ohio, and later in March 2016 it became Peppy’s Poodle Rescue Inc. My children have started at a young age going out on rescues, and had found out that they love being out rescuing pups off the streets. We are here to help homeless animals find their furever home just as our first foster had found his furever home. We rescue, educate people on animal care, and also go to the shelters to rescue. We have named the rescue Peppy’s Poodle Rescue in honor of our dear Peppy which was our first foster and the heart of the rescue, because of him he had taught us so much about why it was so important to rescue, not adopt. There are currently over 500,000 homeless animals every year that are looking for homes and we go and place them in foster homes where they get the care and love they need until they find their furever home just like so many others that have found their furever homes too.
